The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro is set to see an increase of M2M mobile data usage with over 1.7 million contactless POS terminals in Brazil.
According to Andy Gerit at Visa, Brazil is the world’s leader for the contactless market, with more than 1.7 million contactless POS terminals in place throughout the country.
With the increased penetration of new contactless technologies such as smartphones, SMS options, credit and debit card apps, wearable and mobile payments, there is a real need for secure and reliable M2M mobile data connectivity.
Secure Multi Network Roaming Mobile Data for POS Terminals
JT M2M SIMs cellular connectivity is enabling Brazilian business to conduct sales transactions from mobile point-of-sale (POS) terminals using cellular networks to conveniently process credit card payment in Brazil and Globally.
At JT M2M we work with companies like Globasure who are a rapidly growing payment solutions provider in Africa. We deliver solutions to the United Bank of Africa and many others. JT’s SIM Management platform provided Globasure a fully branded customer management portal very cost effectively.
JT’s extensive Latin-American multi-network coverage means our customers’ Point of Sale devices stay connected and our end users don’t lose any sales because of poor network performance. If there’s a problem, the JT SIM just hops over to a functioning network.
